Kristi was initially aware of Dennis’s striking blue eyes, his warm personality and his character. It was obvious that he loved the Lord, and loved people. A gentleman, he was very considerate of her as a young lady, but kind to everybody else too. “I told the Lord my thoughts and asked that if Dennis was part of His plan for me, he would make contact soon.”

Don’t Mind the Gap
When we are reading love stories, we need to focus on what God has done—not on what the people did—because our very best “rightness” is still worth nothing in the Kingdom of God. It doesn’t guarantee us a single thing. Love stories are about how God moved, even when people didn’t have any idea that He was there.
