As Christians, we don’t have to guess, we can know Him, know that He is God. A little study of the phrase “I know” shows the confidence that we can have in Him who lives, who has all power, who is great, steadfast and who is our help and support in all times.
Exodus 18:11 – I know that the LORD is greater than all gods.
I Chronicles 28:17 – I know that Thou triest the heart
Job 19:25 – I know that my Redeemer liveth
Job 42:2 – I know that Thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be witholden from Thee.
Psalms 135:5 – I know the LORD is great
Ecclesiastes 3:14 – I know that what GOD doeth, it shall be forever.
Ecclesiastes 8:12 – Surely I know that it shall be with with them that fear God
Isaiah 50:7 – For the LORD GOD will help me… and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
II Timothy 1:12 – For I know in Whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.
When life feels out of control, and we feel as if we’re rushing, take time to be still and know our God. To know His thoughts towards us. To know to lay our burdens at His feet. To truly know that He lives.
